Who am I?

I spent over 20 years working in corporate media. I didn’t realise it at the time but that was my apprenticeship in learning about people and what makes us all tick. A chance intervention changed my life and made me rethink how I wanted to spend the rest of my working life. I retrained and created Mindworks in 2003. I have been helping companies and individuals to boost confidence, self-esteem and enhance performance ever since.

Why positive change?

Having spent so long in the corporate world, I became too familiar with the adverse effects that stress, negative thinking and catastrophizing could have on performance and health.

I was so amazed by how the subconscious mind could be positively reprogrammed and put back on track that I decided that if it could change my life then it could work for anyone.

How can it help you?

By creating my own blend of performance coaching – a mixture of cognitive behavioural therapy, hypnotherapy and NLP techniques – I noticed that even the most stubborn, analytical individuals would allow positive change to manifest in an amazingly short time.

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is the name given to the altered state that takes place when the conscious analytical brain stops processing. It isn’t necessarily the same as ‘sleep’, more like daydream. Hypnotherapy is the safe therapeutic communication to the creative, subconscious mind when in this relaxed altered state. Suggestion at an unconscious level helps to formulate and in uence new, more desirable automatic behaviours of choice. It is not magic or entertainment.
