Our experiences in life influence our future behaviours. The older we get the more ingrained our default reactions become. So rather than trying to re-live old painful memories to see where we may have gone wrong it is far easier and quicker, to learn some new default reactions to the same routine triggers, by ‘rebooting’ – a nicer way of saying ‘reprogramming out of date beliefs at an unconscious level’.
